The Opportunity:


Reporting to Fulfillment Manager, the Fulfillment Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that deliverables are met, tracked and optimized. This person will implement new systems and processes to help communicate details around order fulfillment with both Licensed Producer (“LP”) partners and provincial boards. They will work closely with planning, logistics, quality, production, and sales to provide visibility and accurate timelines. Using skills in project management and knowledge of operations and supply chain, this role will further bridge the gap between The Valens Company, LP partners and provincial boards.

Schedule:

  • 40 hours/week. Monday - Friday with a flexible start time between 7-8:00am.

As a Fulfillment Coordinator you will:

  • Manage order entry and maintenance of orders in current legacy system and future ERP system
  • Monitor for incoming orders in current order mailbox and validate future Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) orders
  • Coordinate with the Supply Chain and Sales team to ensure highest level of customer service for on time delivery and accurate communication
  • Manage communication with LP Partners and provincial boards by effectively delivering information pertaining to out-of-stock product, shipping issues, minimum order policies and lead times
  • Work closely with internal teams to meet LP partner and provincial expectations and resolve order issues
  • Stay up to date on provincial delivery requirements and ensure changes to manuals are communicated to the appropriate internal team members
  • Assist with the implementation of scalable processes, procedures and systems to drive operational effectiveness
  • Work with internal teams to improve/maintain client scorecards and build strong client relationships
  • Communicate with logistics and production planning teams on large orders or promotions for planning
  • Support in the implementation of strategic objectives to provide quality and timely service
  • Complete all other tasks related to the position, as assigned by Manager
  • Work with the Supply Chain team to support the transition from Excel to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system (Microsoft Dynamics)

 

As a Fulfillment Coordinator you bring:

  • Degree or Diploma in a relevant field (Procurement, Supply Chain, International Business Management, Logistics) an asset
  • 3+ years of work experience in a related field required
  • Experience with ERP systems required, Microsoft Dynamics preferred
  • Proven knowledge of operational process and experience with process optimization
  • Proven experience with entering sales orders
  • Ability to tailor requests to client needs with above and beyond approach to customer service
  • Strong knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent analytical skills and above average attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Capable of multitasking with minimal supervision
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
