The role of the Salesforce Administrator/ Developer is to support the Gateway system - an exciting and innovative newcomer system that helps immigrants and refugees to Alberta navigate their new home successfully. You will provide application integration, analysis, design, development, and testing expertise to projects from initiation to implementation, and facilitate virtual service delivery to newcomers.

 

Duties:

  • Facilitate requirements gathering & documenting detailed functional, technical, reporting & data requirements for new Salesforce solutions
  • Assisting in integrating new products and initiatives into Salesforce
  • Documenting system configuration and administrative processes
  • Configure and customize the Salesforce platform, taking full advantage of the coding tools provided
  • Support and help the team move forward by taking part in design, code and security reviews
  • Build custom reports, dashboards, and workflows
  • Develop, update, maintain, organize for the agency’s online platforms/websites
  • Any other duties as assigned by supervisor

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Facilitate requirements gathering & documenting detailed functional, technical, reporting & data requirements for new Salesforce solutions
  • 2-5 years’ experience as a Salesforce administrator and implementing CRM systems OR equivalent experience in cloud based CRM systems
  • Experience of Agile, Scrum or other iterative development methodologies
  • Experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce Unit Testing
  • Experience in software development for web technologies is a strong asset
  • Experience developing in web languages / technologies such as JavaScript, HTML/CSS skills are a plus.
  • Desire to move into advanced administration areas of Salesforce or develop skills in Salesforce development
  • Passion and experience in serving immigrants and refugees
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Available to work occasional evenings and weekends
